Prayer of the Day
*Call to Worship
Our gathering here today is another
wave of the one, mighty resurrection event.
We are invited here by the risen and living
Lord Jesus.
Let us delight in his Presence and
reaffirm our love and commitment.
We
love because Christ has first loved us.
Christ is risen!
He is risen
indeed! Alleluia! Amen.
*Hymn of
Praise: “Christ the Lord is Risen Today!” Glory #245
Call to Confession
Prayer of Confession
Lord God, in the light of your glory
we see the sins we have committed, the pain we
have caused, the
good we have refused, and the truth we have denied. Heal our soul
sickness, wash us
in your mercy, and nourish us with grace, so we may follow in the
Way of Jesus and
share with others the good news of your forgiveness and salvation.
We pray in the
name of your Son, our Savior, Jesus the Christ. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon
Leave the tombs of fear! Shake off the dust of death
and put on the joy of the Lord!
We rejoice in the good news: In Jesus Christ,
we are forgiven. Thanks be to God!
Passing the Peace
The peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with
you!
And also with you!
Let us
share the peace of Christ with each other.
Glory be to the Father
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the
beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Prayers of the People and
the Lord’s Prayer
Our Father
who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will
be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give
us this day our daily bread, and forgive us
our debts as we forgive our debtors. And
lead us not into temptation, but deliver us
from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and
the power and the glory forever. Amen.
